Janeway supports multiple peer review models, each offering different levels of transparency and anonymity:

• Single anonymous review: Reviewers know the identity of the author, but the author does not know the identity of the reviewers.
• Double anonymous review: Neither the author nor the reviewers know each other's identities.
• Triple anonymous review: Authors, reviewers, and section editors are all anonymised during the review process.
• Open peer review: Reviewer comments can be made publicly visible, with the reviewer's consent.
